Metal Gear Rising Voice Actor Hints Towards an Announcement Soon; All You Need to Know

Metal Gear Rising was one of the best games that came out of Konami during that time. The game featured an entertaining storyline, great combat mechanics for the time, and a background score that made things even more intense. It was different from the other titles in the Metal Gear Solid franchise and saw a new protagonist called Raiden.

The voice actor that played Raiden in Metal Gear Rising has just released a video on his official Twitter account. The actor in question is Quinton Flynn, who is also known for his work in other games such as Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and more. The video he has posted is a Cameo clip, which is a platform to get personalised content from popular personalities.

As spotted by VGC, the interesting part comes from the comment section of his post. First, one of the fans in the comment section mentioned Metal Gear Rising’s upcoming 10-year anniversary, which will take place in February 2023. To which another fan replied and asked Flynn whether Metal Gear Rising’s sequel is a possibility.

Flynn’s reply would excite the series’ fans. He stated that players should stay tuned for details that could be announced “in the coming weeks”. The reply has since then been deleted, it is believed that Konami must’ve approached him to take the comment down as it hasn’t made the information publicly available yet. As of now, players can just wait and hope that an announcement for Metal Gear Rising sequel does indeed surface in the coming weeks.
