Microsoft has removed the Huawei’s product listing from its Online Store just after a week US Government blacklisted Huawei in its trade market. Microsoft first removes the Laptops its online store on Friday. Later on, the company also pulls Huawei from one of its websites offering cloud gears.
While searching for Huawei products on the Microsoft online store, it returns no results for the search. However, neither Huawei nor Microsoft passes a comment on this happening.
On Microsoft Azure’s website, the Huawei logo is still present on the main page but the products associated with them have been removed from the website. Huawei is one of the largest exporters of Microsoft that provides hardware components to Microsoft’s Azure Stack product, which helps companies to run software applications on either a hybrid cloud service or in their own data centers.
Microsoft spokesman Andrew Pickup said Friday that the company is “not offering comment on this topic in any capacity.” Huawei did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Chipmakers including Intel, Qualcomm and Broadcom, have told their employees they will not supply Huawei until further notice, according to people familiar with their actions. Also, tech giant Google ends its agreement with Huawei and stops supplying and further updates to the Android OS and its associated services.
At this time being, Huawei is going through one of the worst time in their journey. Investors and industry experts have been watching closely to see how US technology companies alter their relationships with Huawei to comply with the directive and what impact those changes will have on both the Chinese company and its partners.
