Microsoft has recently announced that Kaizala Pro will be rolling out to Office 365 Commercial over time. “We will be adding Kaizala Pro to Office 365 commercial plans worldwide over time”, the company says, but they did not include any information about the exact details of its rollout date.
Kaizala app began as a Microsoft Garage incubation project, and it started out to be productivity tool specifically catered for the Indian market. Because of its continuous development, Kaizala is now downloadable for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Kaizala Pro version is now free for all Office 365 commercial subscribers in 28 different markets as part of the Office 365 commercial plan, but it costs $1.50 per user per month when separated.
This “Kaizala Pro” version includes exclusive features like public groups, system integration and automation using Kaizala APIs and more will soon roll out to more Office 365 users across the world.
Kaizala is similar to Facebook’s WhatsApp, in a way that it provides free wi-fi messaging, and it allows customers to create group chats among specific departments, groups, or teams. Aside from that, the hierarchical chats and “hub and spoke” models allows the users or team to have an efficient control over the security such as information sharing between users.
The messaging service allows the user to choose between a one-person conversation and a broadcast communication. Kaizala also has a helpful feature for mobile users, the offline and 2G support. Just like with WhatsApp, you can also sign in just by using your phone number for easier access.
As the company says, it will be available for Office 365 commercial customers worldwide “over time”. So be sure to stay tuned with TechnoCodex to be updated.
