Mia Tindall, Zara and Mike Tindall’s elder daughter was spotted playing football with her dad in a rare public father-daughter outing. Mia stepped out in Gloucester on Sunday, January 30 to cheer for Mike as he took part in the Battle of the Balls fundraiser football match. The adorable eight-year-old was pictured on the bench at New Meadow Park, looking over as Mike played in the team Rugby for Heroes Legends.

Mia donned a casual outfit apt for the occasion, which included a fluffy white jumper, a pair of jeans and white trainers.

On one side of her face, she also sported beautiful face paint.

In one adorable snap, the child could be seen holding her father by one arm, while in others she plays football.

Mia is the eldest child of the Tindall’s, who have another daughter Lena, three, and an 11-month-old baby Lucas.

The baby boy, who will turn one in late March, was born on the Tindall’s bathroom floor, as Mike announced last year during the podcast he co-hosts, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

Angela Karanja, an Adolescent Psychologist and parenting teenagers expert, who founded Raising Remarkable Teenagers, spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about Mike Tindall’s parenting skills.

She said: “You get an insight of the kind of parent Mike is and his demeanour for example when he announces the birth of his son on his podcast.

“They obviously had planned the details of the delivery, but you do not see Mike and Zara kicking themselves in embarrassment because the baby thwarted their plans.

“Because of this understanding it’s likely they are not extremely hard on themselves, therefore they are able to model and transfer this to their parenting.

“Borrowing from their sporting experience, they probably also know that the best performances happen when people are feeling at ease and at peace.”

Mike, who as an England rugby player won the World Cup, tackled the Gloucester City Legends on Sunday, January 30.

The event, which saw the local team triumphing six – one against Mike’s team, raised funds for Rugby For Heroes – Transition Through Rugby, an organisation supporting military personnel returning to civilian life.
