Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus Launched in India: Price, Specifications and More

Motorola has today launched its two latest budget-centric smartphones, the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 in India. The main highlight of the smartphones is their massive batteries with TurboCharge support that the company says will provide juice worth 6 hours on 15 minutes of charge.

The Moto E5 Plus comes with the price tag of Rs. 11,999 and will available exclusively on Amazon India, as well as via Moto Hub stores starting midnight tonight. It comes in in Black and Fine Gold colour options.

The Moto E5 Comes with the price tag of Rs. 9,999 and is already available to purchase in India via Amazon India, Moto Hub stores, and leading offline retail stores across the country. It comes in Fine Gold and Flash Grey colour options

As for launch offers, the company is offering Flat Rs. 800 discount on Moto E5 Plus for SBI card users on Amazon on 11th and 12th July, Also Moto E5 Plus customers can avail No-cost EMI up to 9 month and Extra Rs. 1000 off on exchange on Amazon on these dates. Furthermore, the company is offering 130GB additional data for both E5 and E5 Plus for Jio users and Rs. 1200 cashback on bill payments, recharges on buying the smartphones via Paytm mall app at Moto Hubs.

The moto E5 Plus runs on the stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 6” HD+ (720×1440 pixels) 18:9 Max Vision IPS LCD display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Moto E5 Plus comes with a 12MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 1.25um pixel size, laser autofocus, and LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and selfie light flash.

The Moto E5 Plus is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging support. It is claimed to offer 6 hours of usage within 15 minutes of charging. However, the smartphone ships with a 10W Rapid Charger. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm earphone jack, and Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 160.9×75.3×9.35mm and weighs 197 grams.
