Moto G6 Play with HD+ Display, 4000mAh Battery Launched in India
Alongside the Moto G6, Motorola has today also launched the Moto G6 Play in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 11,999 and will be available to purchase exclusively via Flipkart starting today midnight as well as Moto Hub stores across the country. It comes in Indigo Black and Fine Gold color options.

As for the launch offers, the company is offering a flat Rs. 1,000 discount on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards. There are also no-cost EMI no-cost EMI with Bajaj Finserv, extra Rs. 1,500 on exchange, and an effective 25 percent discount on the Jio Rs. 198 plan. There is also an assured buyback offer of Rs. 5,100 on Flipkart. Also, Customer shop using the Paytm Mall QR code at Moto Hubs will get Rs. 1,200 cashback on mobile recharges on Paytm.
Moto G6 Play Specifications
Talking about the specifications, the Moto G6 Play runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.7” HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) 18:9 Max Vision IPS display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Moto G6 Play comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDFA and LED flash support. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies.
The Moto G6 Play is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery with Turbo charging technology that promises hours of battery life after just a few minutes of charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 154.4 x 72.2 x 9 mm and weighs 175 grams.
