Moto X4 6GB RAM Variant with Android Oreo Launched in India for Rs 24,999

After teasing for the entire last week, Motorola has now launched Moto X4 6GB RAM variant in India. The new variant comes with the price tag of Rs 24,999 and will be available for purchase exclusively from Flipkart and Moto Hub stores starting from 11:59 pm IST on Wednesday, January 31. It comes in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options.

The Moto X4 6GB RAM variant comes with certain launch offers which include Rs 1500 flat discount with ICICI bank credit cards, additional Rs. 3,000 discount will be available on the exchange,  up to 490GB free data from Vodafone on recharges of Rs. 199, and no-cost EMIs. up to 12 months starting from Rs 2083. The Flipkart launch offers will only last until Friday, February 2.

To recall, the Moto X4 was first unveiled at IFA 2017 in Berlin and was launched in India back in November last year.  It was launched in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 20,999 and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 22,999.

Recollection the specifications, The Moto X4 6GB RAM variant runs on Android Oreo operating system and sports a 5.2”full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS IPS 424ppi display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with Adreno 508GPU.  It offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

The Moto X4 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup which comes with a combination of a 12MP Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide angle with a 120-degree field of view, aperture f/2.2 and 1.12-micron pixels. It features a colour correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash. Camera features include PDFA,  bokeh effect, selective focus, selective black and white, background change and 4K video recording. On the front, there is a 16MP sensor with 1-micron pixels and an f/2.0 aperture along with LED flash and 4MP adaptive low-light mode.

The smartphone is fueled by a 3000mAh non-removable ‘all-day’ battery with a 15W TurboPower charger; it will provide up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charge. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. it measures 148.35×73.4×7.99mm and weighs 163 grams.
