After releasing Motorola P30, Lenovo owned Motorola has today silently launched its bigger sibling dubbed as Motorola P30 Note, in China. The main highlight of the smartphone is its massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It also comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots. Apart from that, it offers similar specification as the Motorola P30.
Motorola P30 Note Price and Availability
The Motorola P30 Note comes with the price tag of Yuan 1999 ($ 292/ Rs. 20,710 approx.) for the 4GB RAM variant, while the 6GB RAM model costs Yuan 2299 ($ 336/ Rs. 23,820 approx.). The smartphone is already available to purchase in China in Mercury Black colour options. The company is bundling JBL headphones with the phone as part of the introductory offer.
Motorola P30 Note Specifications
The Motorola P30 Note runs the custom ZUI 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 6.2” full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) 18.7:9 IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. As Mentioned above, it offers 4GB/ 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage options. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Motorola P30 Note comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP OmniVision OV16B sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size and 5MP OmniVision OV5675 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, it has a 12MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, double-sided AI blur, and AR capabilities. The front camera also equipped with facial recognition technology to unlock the device.
The Motorola P30 Note is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back embedded under the moto logo. It measures 156×76.95×8.39 mm and weighs 198 grams.
