New Delhi: Seasoned investor Mukul Mahavir Prasad Agrawal has added a new logistics stock in his portfolio in the December quarter, the latest shareholding data suggests.

Agrawal has picked up 70,00,000 equity shares or 5.69 per cent stake in

during the October-December quarter, the company’s regulatory filing shows.

His name was missing from the key shareholders’ list in the September quarter. Companies are obligated to release the names of key shareholders on a quarterly basis, who own at least one per cent stake in the company.



Hyderabad-based Gati is a domestic logistics company offering surface and air express logistics, warehousing and supply chain, air freight and e-commerce services.

Following the update, shares of Gati zoomed 8 per cent to Rs 209 on Wednesday before giving up some gains. The script had settled at Rs 193.20 on Tuesday. BSE barometer and Benchmark Sensex was trading 431.18 points or 0.71 per cent higher at 61,048.07 at the time of writing this report.

Not rejigging his portfolio much, Agrawal has stayed put in a dozen stocks including LT Foods, GM Breweries, Arman Financial Services, Goldiam International, Kingfa Science, Kamdhenu, JTEKT India, Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys, Intellect Design Arena, Apollo Pipes, Sahyadri Industries and Dhabriya Polyware.

Agrawal publicly holds 39 stocks with a net worth of over Rs 2,155.6 crore, the data from Trendlyne suggests.
