Microsoft brings its cable-free PC gaming service for the Xbox Console users. The giant has recently updated a new app called Wireless Display App. This app enables the Xbox Owners to stream their PC games to the console without any hassle. The PC users can now stream all the popular games to the Xbox One Console directly through this new Wireless Display App for the console users.

You don’t need to purchase any external unit or tool to enable this function on the Xbox One console. You can use the regular Xbox One Controller to play the PC games. You can also use the Xbox Console for the presentations like the PC. This updated app is like a life-saver for the gamers who can use both the platforms for various activities rather than playing just games.

If we talk more about this updated app, the new Wireless Display App from Microsoft uses Miracast for creating a connection between the PC and the Console. Once you establish a connection, you can start working with the PC games using a combination of Windows Key+ P.

This is an ideal app for those who want to start presentations on the Xbox One Console. The app comes with a number of modes to make use of the PC and Xbox Console the way you want. Depending on your basic needs, you can use the Xbox One control like a PC.

Unfortunately, the app is limited for free videos services only. It is not compatible to stream protected videos from Netflix or Amazon Prime. Here’s a preview video of how Microsoft’s recently updated Wireless Display App actually works for you on the Xbox One Console.

The app has been in the market for months for the testers which are now officially released for the public by Microsoft. The app doesn’t support any external inputs such as Keyboard and Mouse. You have to use the Xbox One Controller to take full control of the PC functions on the Xbox One Console.
