Des Hasler’s efforts to get his winless Sea Eagles off the bottom of the ladder on Friday night have been dealt a significant blow with Cade Cust ruled out for Manly’s clash against the Warriors.

The exciting utility has been sidelined after coming down with a virus, joining Moses Suli on the list of outs after the centre injured his back last week.

Morgan Harper will get his first taste of top-flight footy this season in place of Suli, after impressing in NSW Cup in the opening rounds.

Warriors prop Addin Fonua-Blake will not be afforded a highly anticipated opportunity to duke it out with his former club. He’s been sidelined with a knee injury in a decent blow for the Kiwis.
