Nintendo Switch continues to receive more support from third-party partners, with the latest deal adding a series of big games to the handheld console.

And having launched back in 2019, Kingdom Hearts 3 has become a very accessible game, with Nintendo Switch the last major console release.

The news was shared initially in October 2021, with Square Enix revealing they would be launching a total of ten games on the platform.

One drawback to this whole project was that it would be arriving without a Cartridge, with Square opting for the Cloud route.

A message from Square explains: “There are 10 KINGDOM HEARTS experiences coming to Nintendo Switch as three standalone cloud releases: KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX CLOUD VERSION, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue CLOUD VERSION and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC) CLOUD VERSION.

“In addition, you’ll be able to purchase all games together in an ‘all-in-one’ cloud version collection: KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE for Cloud.

“The final story chapter of the mobile title KINGDOM HEARTS DARK ROAD will be released this winter.

“Additionally, the entirety of the KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ [Cross] story is available for players to relive or experience for the first time ever – all through a very convenient theatre mode.

“To date, more than 10 million players around the world have downloaded the KINGDOM HEARTS Uχ Dark Road app, so there are a lot of you waiting for the conclusion to this prequel story. Rest assured – it’s coming, and it’s going to be awesome.”

And now we know exactly when the new collection of Kingdom Hearts games will be arriving on Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo and Square Enix will launch the Kingdom Hearts franchise on Nintendo Switch on February 10.

Three Collections and different pricing will be available to those who want to purchase the games, with the full list costing $89.99.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5, 2.8, III + Re Mind (DLC) as well as the all-in-one Integrum Masterpiece all launch on Nintendo Switch via cloud on February 10th, with several demos available as well.

Starting today you’ll be able to try out free playable demos of 1.5+2.5, 2.8 and III, all of which can be found on the Nintendo eShop.

These demos will be worth checking out as they are all run using Cloud technology and you will be able to test whether your internet can handle game streaming, before spending any cash.
