Nokia 3.1 Launched in India with 5.2-inch 18:9 display: Price, Specifications and more

HMD Global has today launched its latest budget-centric smartphone – the Nokia 3.1, in India. The main highlights of the smartphone include the pure Android operating system as it is a part of the Android One program and HD+ 18:9 display.

Nokia 3.1 Price, Availability and Launch Offers

The Nokia 3.1 comes with a price tag of Rs 10,499 and it will be available to purchase starting from July 24 from the company’s official website, Paytm Mall and offline stores as well. It comes in White/Iron, Blue/Copper, and Black/Chrome colour options.

As for the launch offers, the company is offering 10% cashback on recharges and bill payments on Paytm if a consumer buys the smartphone from a retail store by scanning Paytm Mall QR code. There are also two Rs 250 movie cashback vouchers, which can be redeemed while booking movie tickets from Paytm. Furthermore, Consumers using ICICI Bank credit or debit card will get a 5 percent cashback. Also, Idea and Vodafone user will get two offers. One, on the recharge of Rs 149 pack, customers will get 1GB data per day, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Additionally, on upgrading from a 2G or 3G phone to the new Nokia 3.1 smartphone, will get additional 1GB data per day. Second, on recharge of Rs 595 plan, users will get unlimited calls, 18GB of 4G data, 100 SMS/day for 6 months.

Nokia 3.1 Specifications

The Nokia 3.1 runs on Android Oreo operating system and sports a 5.2 HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS LCD 18:9 display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750S octa-core processor coupled with Mali T860 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, the internal storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Nokia 3.1 comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and an LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the font, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and an 84.6-degree field-of-view.

The Nokia 3.1 is fuelled by a 2900mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack , and Micro-USB port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back. It measures 146.25×68.65×8.7mm and weighs 138.3 grams.
