Earlier this month, we have seen Nokia 6 (2018) listed on TENAA, the Chinese regulatory agency, but now a different model has been listed at the same entity. This means it will have at least two different versions.
The first variant visited TENAA two weeks ago, the specifications of the device weren’t added at that time. Now, a different model of the Nokia 6 (2018) with model number TA-1054 found listed on the certification site with its key specs. The main difference between the two smartphones is the display. While the first model is expected to sport an 18:9 display, the second variant is listed with a 16:9 display.
TENAA listing reveals that the next generation Nokia 6 (2018 ) runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.5” Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. Unfortunately, the name of the chipset remains a mystery but we expect it to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon-600 series Mobile Platform. It offers 4GB of RAM along with 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card.
For photography, the Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 16MP rear camera while on the front it has an 8MP shooter. The smartphone will be fueled by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. It will be made available in White, Black, and Blue color options. Presumably, HMD Global will launch the smartphone in January 2018.
