OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphone series — OnePlus 11 – alongside several other products at an event in February. The Chinese smartphone maker is now expected to expand its affordable phone portfolio in India with new models. The company is rumoured to launch three new Nord-branded smartphones — OnePlus Nord 3, Nord CE 3 and Nord CE 3 Lite. Amongst these, the OnePlus Nord 3 is likely to debut in July. This smartphone is supposed to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone which was launched recently in China. The latest rumours also suggest that the Nord CE 3 will feature the Snapdragon 782G chipset. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 695 mobile platform. A tipster named Max Jambor has revealed the launch date of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G on Twitter. As per Jambor’s tweet, the upcoming smartphone will launch on April 4. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 3 and Nord 3 smartphones are expected to arrive by Q3 2023.

According to a report by GizmoChina, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole cutout. The smartphone’s screen is also expected to support a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
As mentioned above, the smartphone is likely to come powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. To compare, last year’s OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G also featured the same chip. The Nord CE 3 Lite is also rumoured to arrive in two RAM and storage variants which are — 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery that may support 67W fast charging and may boot OxygenOS 13 UI based on Android 13 OS out-of-the-box. The smartphone is also said to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a microSD card slot.
