Nubia Alpha Smartwatch with Flexible OLED Display and Nubia Wireless Earbuds launched in China: Price and Specifications
Nubia has finally launched its Alpha smartwatch and wireless Earbuds today in China. The company has already showcased both of these products at MWC 2019 and promised to launch soon. And now, they finally launched them only in the Chinese market. However, the company has already promised to launch these products in the foreign markets across Asia, Europe, and North America. Let’s take a closer look at both of these gadgets.
Nubia Alpha Smartwatch: Specification
The all-new Nubia Alpha smartwatch features a 4.01-inch flexible OLED display with 960×192 pixels resolution. The screen is covered by thick bezels at both of its sides to give extra protection to the screen. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC and is coupled with 1GB of RAM. In addition, this smartwatch comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage to install apps and to store offline music.
Furthermore, Nubia Alpha comes with a 5MP camera with 82-degree wide-angle view and f/2.2 aperture which is placed on the thick bezel. While there is an air gesture sensor placed on the other side of the bezel to track air gestures. On the software end, this smartwatch runs on a custom OS called Alpha OS (αOS) which comes with different customs setting.
Apart from this, Nubia Alpha smartwatch comes with eSIM technology and is also 4G LTE compatible. In addition, it features a splash-proof design and also has a built-in GPS and heart rate monitor for tracking fitness-related activities.
Nubia Wireless Earbuds: Specifications
Along with Alpha Smartwatch, Nubia also launched wireless Earbuds in the partnership of 1MORE in China. Nubia true wireless earbuds comes with 45-degree ergonomic design that fits easily in the ear canal. It is also light in weight and weighs just 6.2g making it more portable to use.
Furthermore, it runs on Bluetooth 5 with Qualcomm AptX and also bundled with LDS Laser antenna for stable Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, it has an inbuilt MEMS microphone making it useful to call wirelessly.
All of the above, Nubia true wireless earbuds is fuelled by 55mAh battery which delivers 6.5 hours of playback which can be charged via the wireless case which have 410mAh battery extending the playback time of earbuds to 24 hours.
Nubia Alpha Smartwatch and Wireless Earbuds: Price and Availability
As for the price, Nubia Alpha smartwatch goes for CNY 3499 (approx INR 36,250). In addition to the thunder black variant, Alpha smartwatch comes in an 18K Gold variant which is priced at CNY 4499 (approx INR 46,500). While the Nubia true wireless earbuds costs CNY 799 (approx INR 8,280).
As for their availability, both of these gadgets will be available in China starting from April 10.
