One Piece has gotten even more interesting after Kaido’s defeat. In the last few chapters, we’ve seen Shanks getting closer to Luffy, and at the same time, the Straw Hat Pirates’ captain has become one of the four emperors. One Piece follows a weekly release schedule, so Chapter 1059 was supposed to release on September 4th, 2022. However, Eiichiro Oda is on his usual weekly break, so the manga will return with the new chapter on Sunday, September 11th, 2022, at 8 AM PT (Pacific Timing). The chapter will be available to read for free on Viz Media and Manga Plus.
Fans in Japan will get the physical release of Chapter 1059 a few days before its digital release, so we will likely get a glimpse of the upcoming chapter in a couple of days through spoilers. For now, we can only hope that the chapter focuses more on Luffy’s new mysterious adventure. The community would also love to see more of Shanks, who must be close to Luffy’s ship as both the pirate crews are now heading towards the “One Piece” treasure.
Every major character in the series got new bounties. Since Luffy is now one of the legendary Emperors, his bounty is more than 3 Billion Berries. At the same time, Mihawk flaunts an impressive bounty of around 3.5 Billion. But, the most shocking reveal of the previous chapter was most definitely Buggy’s bounty of 3.1 Billion. So, there’s a chance that the next chapter will again focus on Mihawk or Buggy The Clown instead of showing us the Straw Hat Pirates.
