OnePlus 10T confirmed to launch on August 3: Everything you need to know about OnePlus’ upcoming flagship

OnePlus has revealed the launch date for its next top-of-the-line smartphone. The company confirmed that its next flagship smartphone — OnePlus 10T — is arriving on August 3 at 7:30 PM IST. Further, the OnePlus confirmed that it would host an in-person event in New York for the first time after the pandemic broke out.
Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 to power OnePlus 10T
OnePlus has been following a trend of releasing two flagships every year since the OnePlus 3T. However, if you remember, it did not release one last year. The second flagship of the year comes with minor upgrades, and this year’s OnePlus 10T is confirmed to come with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
OnePlus 10T would come with 150W fast charging
The company is marketing the OnePlus 10T with the tagline, “Evolve beyond speed.” But, we expect other specifications of the upcoming smartphone to be similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro instead of a new processor and charging speed being bumped to 150W compared to the Pro’s 80W. Also, there might not be a drastic change in the design of two smartphones.
OxygenOS 13 is also coming next month
That is not it; OnePlus will also reveal the next iteration of OxygenOS — the OxygenOS 13 — alongside the OnePlus 10T. The company has previously said that the next iteration of OxygenOS would offer a fast and smooth user experience with some exclusive customization features, and it will be based on Android 13.
The event will be live streamed on OnePlus’ official social media handles at 7:30 PM IST on August 3. Interested people can attend the in-person offline event in New York by purchasing tickets for $25. The attendees will be given an exclusive goodie bag consisting of Nord Buds and other OnePlus merchandise.
