Vivo’s latest flagship – the X80 Pro – has launched in India with all the features you would expect from a high-end smartphone. The X80 Pro comes with a QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 80W charging. Among all its specifications, the Vivo X80 Pro has a ZEISS engineered quad-camera setup powered by a custom Vivo V1+ chip. And a few weeks ago, OnePlus also brought its flagship — the OnePlus 10 Pro – to India. The OnePlus 10 Pro has similar specifications and features, including a QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 80W wired charging, and Hasselblad tuned triple camera setup on the back. The X80 Pro comes with a 6.78 QHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 10 Pro features a tad smaller 6.7-inch QHD+ display with the same refresh rate of 120Hz. Both are the latest E5 AMOLED panels with a peak brightness of 1500 nits; the only difference is that the X80 Pro uses the LTPO 3.0 technology, promising better battery efficiency, whereas the OnePlus 10 Pro has an LTPO 2.0 panel.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powers the Vivo X80 Pro and OnePlus 10 Pro. However, the X80 Pro also comes with an in-house custom V1+ imaging chip. The X80 Pro runs the Android 12 based FunTouchOS, whereas the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with OxygenOS 12.1 on top of Android 12. Both the smartphones have support for 80W wired fast charging.
As for the cameras, the Vivo X80 Pro comes with ZEISS engineered quad-camera setup on the back. The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultrawide, a 12MP telephoto, and an 8MP periscope camera.
