The 95th Academy Awards put India in the spotlight. RRR bagged a historic win in the Best Original Song category for Naatu Naatu while The Elephant Whisperers made history by winning the Best Documentary Short category and became the first Indian production to win an Oscar. Now, Shah Rukh Khan has shared his congratulations.
Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts on the proud moment for India. Calling the wins “truly inspirational” the star wrote, “Big hug to @guneetm & @EarthSpectrum for Elephant Whisperers. And @mmkeeravaani #ChandraBose ji @ssrajamouli @AlwaysRamCharan @tarak9999 thank u for showing us all, the way to do it. Both Oscars are truly inspirational!!”

Team RRR including SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR attended the Academy Awards ceremony where composer M.M Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose went up on stage to accept the award. The Elephant Whisperers’ director Kartiki Gonsalves and producer Guneet Monga went on stage to accept the award.
Among those sharing their hearty congratulations are Bollywood stars including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and others.
