Panasonic India on Friday launched two new budget smartphones- Eluga Ray and P85 at Rs 7,999 and Rs 6,499, respectively, for the domestic consumers. Both smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart from May 15.
First talk about Eluga Ray Eluga Ray features Arbo, an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that uses tracks and learns your daily life activity patterns, the phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, Eluga Ray sports a 5” HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MTK Quad-Core Processor, the phone offers 3GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
The Penasonic Eluga Ray features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB OTG, while sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The Eluga Ray is backed by a 4000mAh battery, the phone measures 144.4×71.6×9.7mm, and weighs 169 grams.
“The Eluga Ray has been designed to simplify the lives of smartphone users through Arbo AI assistant. Be it a wake-up call or booking a cab for your office, Arbo learns user behaviour to make life hassle-free,” said Pankaj Rana, Business Head (Mobility Division) Panasonic India, in a statement.
Coming on Penasonic P85, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with 5” HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The phone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor. P85 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Panasonic P 85 packs an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options P85 includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, and FM radio. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It sports a 4000mAh battery and measures 145×72.2×9.35mm, and weighs 146.7 grams.
