A day after the launch of Eluga I4, Panasonic today has revealed another budget-centric smartphone dubbed as P99. The new smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 7,490 and will be available to purchase at all authorised Panasonic and other retail stores across the country in Champagne Gold, Black, and Blue colour options.
The Panasonic P99 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5” HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Panasonic P99 comes equipped with an 8MP primary camera with LED flash support. It include various photography mode like Beauty mode, Burst shot, Night mode, Professional mode, Watermark, HDR, and Panorama. On the front, there is 5MP front facing camera for taking selfies; front camera also supports Beauty mode, Burst shot, HDR, and Watermark.
The Panasonic P99 is fueled by a 2000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, and micro USB port. The smartphone measures 144.6 x 71.8 x 8.6 mm and weighs 145 grams.
