The Last of Us HBO Series has released 2 episodes till date and has been performing exceptionally. This information comes from a report by GameIndustry.Biz, which states that The Last of Us Part 1 saw tremendous growth during this week in the United Kingdom. It entered the charts at number 20, coming in with a 238% increase for week on week.
What’s even more intriguing is that The Last of Us: Remastered, which released all the way back in 2014 for the PlayStation 4 has made it to the charts too. This title has placed at number 32 and sees an increase of 322% week on week.
The growth of sales for this title does not come as a surprise, as it is only natural for new players to want to enter this universe after seeing the adaption. We saw a similar spike for Cyberpunk 2077 too in 2022 when the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime was released.
