Phantom Liberty DLC to Have Biggest Budget in CDPR History; Witcher 3 Next Gen Patch for PC in ‘Final Stages’

Cyberpunk 2077 has experienced a fruitful 2022. Ever since the developers introduced fixes for the game and the release of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, the days have become much brighter for them. Now, the hype for the title is growing even further as CD Projekt Red has announced an upcoming DLC titled Phantom Liberty.

Talking about Phantom Liberty, through a report by PCGamesN, we have learned that “budget-wise” this DLC is going to be “the biggest expansion” in CD Projekt Red’s history. Moreover, we were also informed that “game scope-related details” will be expanded upon some time in the future.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will see a completely new side on the Night City, as it is set an in all new district. It will also see the return of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand and the introduction of another big name from Hollywood, Idris Elba. Elba will be playing the role of Solomon Reed, who is an FIA Agent for the NUSA.

In other news, through a report by CramGaming, we have learned about some new mods for Cyberpunk 2077. These mods will include YouTube Safe Adverts, building windows will be clearer and blurring will be reduced for better vision, lore friendly vending machine and more. Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt next-gen patch for PC in “final stages”

Lastly, CD Projekt Red recently released a next-gen patch for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with upgraded visuals and gameplay mechanics. The patch is only available for console users at the moment and the PC players feel left out.

Fortunately, through a tweet by CDPR’s Global Community Director, Marcin Momot, we have learned that the studio has been “quietly working” on it for the PC platform. Furthermore, he has also stated that it won’t be long before the patch releases. At the moment, this was all he had to share about the update.
