This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has shared the unfortunate news that he has tested positive for COVID-19 this evening. The TV host shared a picture of a positive lateral flow test with his three million Instagram followers.
Phillip, 59, usually hosts ITV hit shows This Morning and Dancing On Ice, but his presence on those programmes this week has now been thrown into uncertainty.
The picture of the lateral flow test shared by the ITV presenter clearly showed two bold red lines, indicating that he had contracted the illness.
The star wrote over the photo: “Oh b******s”
He added of his symptoms: “Currently just a slightly sore throat”.
