After launching new features into the game, Niantic has added a new Egg Hatching Even to the Pokemon Go. The new addition of Gen 4 Pokemons, new shiny Pokemons, and game balancing was also introduced.

The Hatchathon event is available until November 27, it gives players a chance to hatch some hard-to-find Pokemon. You will also be able to hatch Pokemons with evolved forms, these Pokemons were firstly introduced in the series’ Gen 4 titles–Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, from the 2 km Eggs.

Niantic has tweeted the schedule of this event saying “It’s time to get cracking on an egg-citing event, Trainers! From November 13 at 1:00 p.m. PST to November 27 at 1:00 p.m. PST, Pokémon with evolved forms originally discovered in the Sinnoh region—such as Rhyhorn, Porygon, and Magby—will be in 2 km Eggs!”

There is also a number of famous Pokemons receiving new evolutions in the Gen 4 Pokemon games such as Rhydon, Porygon, Electabuzz, and Magmar. But even though is seems so exciting to get these Pokemons, there is a catch, you have to earn some appropriate Candy and get the Sinnoh Stone which is a new evolutionary item to make them evolve. The Sinnoh Stone can be obtained by collecting the Research Breakthrough reward, it only means that players can only get one Sinnoh Stone every seven days.

Niantic has also confirmed that you can have a chance to hatch a Shiny Elekid during the event. CP rebalancing is also added into the game, it is designed to give most Pokemon some extra bulk during battles in gyms and raids, that’s why some Pokemon slightly had higher CPs.
