We can understand why you’d want to lock your smartwatch, as you’d need to set this up if you plan to use mobile payments for one. It also gives you some peace of mind just in case your wearable gets lost or stolen.

Then again, I can see why you’d leave your watch unlocked. This ensures a seamless experience on your wrist when engaged in physical activity — no need to enter that code every few minutes during your run.
