Smartphones are generally designed to be used in portrait orientation, but Android does support landscape orientation as well. This allows you to watch landscape videos, use the camera, play games, and more.

Not sure which option to choose? Then go ahead and choose “yes, sometimes” if you only use landscape orientation for the camera, viewing pictures/videos, and/or playing some games. Alternatively, you can choose “yes, all the time” if you use your phone in landscape orientation for additional tasks like typing, web browsing, and using apps.
Me? I’m in the “sometimes” camp. But I can see why you’d want to use your device in landscape orientation more often, especially if you want a desktop-like browsing experience.
