Geelong star Tom Stewart is looking for the young girl who presented him with his premiership medal after Saturday’s 81-point grand final victory over Sydney at the MCG.
The four-time All-Australian defender copped fierce criticism online for his treatment of an Auskicker of the year nominee in the aftermath.
As Stewart made his way onto the dais during the presentation, the father of two snubbed the young girl’s offer of a handshake before accidentally knocking the girl’s souvenir cap off her head as he threw his arms up in celebration.

Speaking on Nine’s Sports Sunday, Stewart put a call out to anyone watching who might know the identity of the girl.
“I want to reach out to the young girl who gave me my premiership medal,” he said.
“I got a bit overwhelmed and a bit excited and ended up knocking her hat off her head.
“I’d love to get in contact with her and give her a little gift, so if anybody knows her and would like to reach out to me on my socials I’d really appreciate it.”

Presenter Roz Kelly summed up the misstep perfectly saying: “Obviously the emotion of the moment got the better of you and you’re not to blame.
“It was an incredible moment”.
