Pro wrestler, Netflix reality show star Hana Kimura dead at 22

MANILA, Philippines — Japanese pro wrestling star Hana Kimura has passed away Saturday due to undisclosed reasons. She was 22.

World Wonder Ring Stardom, the women’s professional wrestling promotion, released a statement Saturday on Twitter.

“We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away,” Stardom wrote. “Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends.”

“We appreciate your support during this difficult time.”

Kimura was also a cast member of Netflix’s reality show “Terrace House.”

Just two days ago, the body of pro wrestler Shad Gaspard was found after it reportedly washed ashore on Venice Beach in Los Angeles, California three days following a report that the former WWE star was missing.

The 39-year-old Gaspard was one half of WWE’s tag team Cryme Tyme.
