Around a week ago, publishers Ubisoft announced the start of the closed beta testing for the long-awaited Rainbow Six Mobile.

The mobile version of the iconic franchise will soon join the smartphone universe, with a free-to-play title that will look to enthrall the massive mobile FPS audience.

When it comes to the world of mobile gaming, India is right there at the top alongside nations like China. With titles like Call of Duty: Mobile and BGMI creating a major wave of FPS gaming, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Ubisoft will be looking to grab a piece of the market as well.

Following the start of the closed regional beta on September 12, the makers of Rainbow Six Mobile have announced more test servers in Mumbai.

Furthermore, new invites as part of Wave 5 have also been sent out to players, who registered to try their hand at Rainbow Six Mobile.

The mobile version of the console/PC title will be looking to fill in the major void left by BGMI following its recent ban.

The title will feature the franchise’s classic Attack vs. Defense game mode. With several 5v5 game modes and maps to try out, players will have to strategize more than ever in order to gain an advantage over the opposing team. Along with playing together as a squad, players will also need to make tactical selections with their choice of Operators, as they come with various advantages and perks.
