CES 2023 announcements from Razer

The Razer Blade 16 and Blade 18 are both powered by the latest 13th-generation Intel Core i9 HX processors with support for Nvidia’s GeForce 40 series mobile graphics. Buyers can opt for GPUs like the RTX 4090 GPU on the top end for best gaming performance. These specifications would make the Blade 18 Razer’s most powerful laptop to date. Blade 16, on the other hand, has “more graphics power per inch than any other 16-inch laptop on the market,” according to Razer.

Blade 16 will come with a display that supports 240Hz refresh rate for a smooth gaming experience. We also got to know that Nvidia has certified both laptops for its Studio program aimed at content creators. Razer has not unveiled any further information about these laptops so far. Other manufacturers such as Acer, Asus, and Dell have also unveiled their Predator, ROG, and Alienware line-ups of gaming laptops respectively with similar, bigger form-factors at CES this year.

Acer unveiled the Predator Helios 18, Asus showed off its refreshed 2023 version of the ROG Strix Scar 18, and Dell came with its Alienware M18 series laptop at CES. It seems like companies are embracing the 18-inch displays on laptops again, which is certainly a welcome move. It is worth noting that the Razer Blade series still includes the 15 and 17-inch models for buyers who prefer more compact-sized laptops.
