Redmi Note 5, the successor of Xiaomi’s most popular mid-range smartphone is expected to launch very soon, many of renders and leaks of Redmi Note 5 are already surfacing on the internet. The device is also spotted listed on Chinese e-commerce retailer Oppomart with the price tag of $199 and JD.Com as well.
Now we have got a live picture of alleged Redmi Note 5, the image is quite similar to the previously leaked images showing an 18:9 fullView display and tiny bezels on both the sides. There is no capacitive button visible at the bottom.
As per the OppoMart listing, the Xiomi Redmi Note 5 runs on MIUI 9 base on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.99″ Full HD ( 2160×1080 pixel) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 2.0GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC similar to its predecessor. While other leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 5 will be powered by either Snapdragon 630 or 660 SoC. It offers 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
For Photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 comes with a 12MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash while earlier it is said to come with a dual-camera setup. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera self-portrait mode.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is fueled by a 4000mAh lithium-ion battery which is rated to give up to 72 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. It measures 158.5mm x 75.5mm x 8.05mm and weighs 179grams.
