Redmi smartwatch teased online, will come with built-in GPS and guided breathing feature


Smartphone brand Xiaomi will launch Redmi Note 10S on May 13. At the event, it will also unveil a Redmi-branded smartwatch, the company teased on the microblogging site Twitter.
As per a tweet shared by Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP Xiaomi and MD Xiaomi India, it will be Redmi’s first smartwatch in the country. Although he did not specifically mention the device, the company has created a teaser page of the device on its official website.
“Bet you didn’t see this coming! ..Brace up to #WearYourVibe and witness the arrival of @RedmiIndia ‘s first _ _ _ _! RT and let me know your answer. Arriving alongside the #SavageBeast #RedmiNote10S on 13th May! Get notified: Right pointing backhand index,” Jain wrote in his tweet.

As per the webpage on Xiaomi’s official website, the smartwatch will be equipped with a built-in GPS/GLONASS for outdoor navigation. The device is teased to come with a ‘light, stunning, stylish’ design. It will be equipped with 11 sports modes and will offer health features like heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking and guided breathing.
Redmi smartwatch is also teased to come with over 200 watch faces. The smartwatch can be seen sporting what appears to be a square-shaped pill capsuled between silicon straps.
