Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez went on a date with a full stomach as she had her last meal only two hours prior to the date.
According to The Sun, the couple met and fell in love in 2016 when Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid.
Rodriguez, whose Netflix docu-series, I am Georgina, was released on Friday, said: “Cristiano said to me, ‘Do you want to come to dinner with me?’ I had dinner two hours before, but I went back to dinner like a lady.” Earlier this month, Ronaldo whisked Rodriguez to Madrid for a meal at Amos, a famous restaurant in Spain.
Rodriguez, who is pregnant with twins, recalled how she realised he was the man for her after holding Ronaldo’s hand on their way to their first date. “I felt like those hands had been with me many times. They fit perfectly,” remarked Rodriguez.
