RRR Makes History by Winning Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards; Here Are Other Winners
The season of RRR isn’t over just yet, as awards season sees the Telugu blockbuster in contention for major nods from various events.
At the 2023 edition of the Golden Globes, the film did struck gold, as it’s hit song Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song. The cast including actors N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan were present at the Beverly Hilton Hotel alongside director S. S. Rajamouli for the festivities.
The award was then received by the song’s creator, music director M. M. Keeravani. Along with the song, RRR was also nominated in the Best Non-English Language Film, which was later won by Argentinian film, Argentina, 1985.

The film fraternity in India congratulated the RRR team for the momentous occasion with Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan and celebrated musician A.R. Rahman being the most notable ones. The creators even received their flowers from people at the event, which includes music icon Rihanna.

The Fabelmans and The Banshees of Inisherin win big at The Golden Globe Awards 2023
Steven Spielberg had a huge night, as his film The Fabelmans won the Best Motion Picture – Drama over other nominees in Tár, Top Gun: Maverick, Elvis and Avatar: The Way of Water. Along with that, he even took the award for the Best Director as well.
While Tár may have missed out on the Best Drama award, actress Cate Blanchett did receive her acclaim as she won the award for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. Similarly, in the male category, it was Austin Butler, who won the award for his electrifying performance as Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s drama,
In the Musical or Comedy category, The Banshees of Inisherin won the Best Film award. While Michelle Yeoh was awarded as the Best Actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, Colin Farrell won another for The Banshees of Inisherin with his role in the Martin McDonagh film.
