S8UL Esports wins the Content Group of the Year Award; Valorant and PUBG Mobile Among Other Winners


Esports Awards are one of the most prestigious awards that an esports organization can hope to receive. Their aim through the awards is to recognize the success and achievements in esports and celebrate it globally. They hope to document and the contributions and success made by the organisations while understanding and highlighting the processes that go on behind the scenes.

For the first time in the history of the Esports Awards, an Indian organisation has bagged the Content Group of the Year award. The winning team is none other than S8UL Esports, which is the amalgam of Team SouL and 8bit, co-owned by Naman ‘MortaL’ Mathur, Animesh ‘Thug’ Agarwal and Lokesh ‘Goldy’ Jain. S8UL was nominated along with some heavy hitters like, Faze Clan, LOUD and 100 Thieves.

Unfortunately, the members of S8UL could not be present at the event in-person in Las Vegas, USA. However, the 3 co-owners, MortaL, Thug and Goldy have reached out and thanked the fans through their social media accounts. On the topic of Esports Awards, there were many creators, gamers, and games awarded at the event. In terms of Esports Mobile Game of the Year, the award went to PUBG Mobile. And, the winner for Esports Game of the Year at the Esports Awards was Valorant. Valorant is doing bits in the esports industry, they even managed to win Esports Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2022.
