NEW DELHI: Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is here. Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy A53 5G smartphone globally at its Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event. The company has now launched the mid-range smartphone in India. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G sports a 64MP camera and AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by Exynos processor and packs 5000 mAh battery.
Price, availability and pre-booking offers
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 34,499 and Rs 35,999 respectively. Customers can purchase the smartphone in black, white, peach and light blue colour options.
Interested buyers can pre-book the smartphone starting today (March 21) from Samsung.com and authorised retail stores. The customers who have pre-booked the smartphone will be able to purchase it starting March 25, 2022.
As part of the pre-booking offer, the buyers can avail cashback of Rs 3,000 on select bank cards. Customers who will pre-book the smartphone via Samsung Finance+ are eligible for the cashback of Rs 2000.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G specifications
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and it is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The mid-range Samsung smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Samsung One UI 4.1. The smartphone sports a quad rear camera with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, LED flash. Front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The smartphone comes with IP67 rating which makes it water-resistant.
The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes with Samsung Knox, which is a privacy dashboard and allows you to manage permissions and control the information that apps on your device have access to.
