Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 with Super AMOLED display Launched in India for Rs 8190
Samsung has launched a new entry-level smartphone under its ‘J’ series dubbed as Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 8,190 and will be available to purchase starting from April 27. It comes in Black, Pink and Gold colour options.
As for the launch offers of the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018, Jio customers will get instant cashback of Rs 2750 in their MyJio account on recharging with Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan. Furthermore, they will get additional 10GB data on every recharge for the next 10 recharges.
Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and sports 5” qHD (960 x 540 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 is fueled by a 2600mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB 2.0 port. It measures 143.8 x 72.3 x 8.4mm and weighs 153 grams. The device also comes pre-loaded with Samsung Mall which lets users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.
