Samsung Galaxy J4 with Android Oreo launched in India

Samsung has today silently introduced its latest budget-centric smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy J4 in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. Rs 9,990 and will be available to purchase via offline retail stores across the county. It comes in black, gold, and orchid gray colour options.

Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J4 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.5 HD (720 x 1280 pixels ) 16:9 Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy J4 comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash support. It also comes with the added Story feature that lets users create various stories from their previous memories by adding background music and easily share them on social networks.

The Samsung Galaxy J4 is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to offer up to 20 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro-USB port. Sensors onboard include Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor. Samsung has also added features such as Advanced Memory Management, Samsung Mall, Dual Apps, App Pair and Adaptive Wi-Fi onto the smartphone. It measures 151.7×77.2×8.1mm and weighs 175 grams.
