Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Listed At FCC ahead of MWC Launch

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are about to launch at MWC 2018, rumors and leaks are already surfaced on the internet. Now both the devices have just cleared FCC (Federal Communication Commission) certification in the US with a couple of insights regarding the devices.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Listed At FCC The model numbers appeared at FCC are SM-G960U, SMG960U1, SM-G960W and SM-G960XU. The first model number refers to the U.S. unlocked variant powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, while the second version is for the Canadian market and lastly the fourth one is the model is for demo units. Other information regarding this is the LET band charts of the devices have appeared as well. The LTE band charts showcase how this time there is a single name SM-G96xU that is for all the bands like GSM, LTE, CDMA, UMTS.

Sadly the FCC only revealed that much information on the devices.  Neither the specifications nor the real-time images have appeared on FCC. From previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC for US and China and Exynos 9810 SoC will be used in other markets.  The smartphones will run on Android 8.0 Oreo coupled with Samsung Experience 8.0 UI.outof the box. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be released with bezel-less displays that will have sizes of 5.8 and 6.2 inches with slightly narrower bezels compared to the previous generation.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the Galaxy S9+ is rumored to have a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For photography, the standard version is expected to sport a 12MP single camera, while the Plus variant should have a dual camera setup.
