Samsung Gear VR Gets Google’s YouTube VR app

The spectrum of Virtual Reality content in entertainment has been developing at a speedy pace and in the series, Google-owned YouTube was made available for Samsung Gear VR, the Google’s YouTube VR app can be downloaded from Oculus Store without shedding money.

Google today announced that new, exclusive VR content is available to YouTube VR users and made available on Samsung Gear VR. To make the experience unique YouTube would be offering exclusive content to the users. The YouTube VR app exists on Sony PlayStation VR, Google Daydream View and the HTC Vive and Samsung among the major players entered little late.

YouTube which is trying to make content more appealing and gain ground in the VR world teased few of the exclusive content which would offer to the users in the coming days and detailed “If music is your thing, you’ll be able to tag along backstage with Portugal. The Man and Hayley Kiyoko as they prepare to go on stage, and get a behind-the-scenes look into the lives of some of our other favorite musicians through the VR180 Rockstar VR series.

Google enabled a new “Watch Together” icon underneath the playback controls which will allow multiple users to view the same VR video together and talk about it.
