Samsung launched its Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e: Price and Specifications

As promised, Samsung has launched its three new flagship smartphones from Galaxy S10-series just before MWC 2019. Samsung has announced its Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e smartphones at an event held in San Francisco on Wednesday. In addition, Samsung has also unveiled Galaxy S10 5G and Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphones. As rumored before, all of these three smartphones comes with “Punch-hole” selfie cameras.

All these three smartphones share almost similar specifications like AMOLED displays with HDR10+ certification, same processors, Wireless charging 2.0 and few more things. However, there a new thing which Samsung has tried in this Series is Reverse Wireless charging feature which you have seen before in Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

As mentioned above, all of the three smartphones features Dynamic AMOLED display with HDR10+ certifications which is considered as the first displays with this certification. This display has the peak brightness of 1,200 nits which makes the content on the screen clearly visible even on sunlight. Also, these smartphones have Infinity-O display panels which is the main key point of these phones.

Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ feature ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor which is the first ever ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on any Samsung Smartphone. This fingerprint sensor is considered as the “most advanced embedded fingerprint scanning method.” While on Samsung Galaxy S10e, there is a capacitive fingerprint sensor settled at the home button. All of these smartphones run on Samsung’s One UI based on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Furthermore, these smartphones comes with both Wireless and Wired charging. They support wireless Fast Charging 2.0 and Quick Charging 2.0. There is also Wireless PowerShare feature which can be used to charge other Qi wireless charging devices or smartphones. In addition, Samsung Galaxy S10 Series smartphones are IP68-certified with dust and water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy S10 features a 6.1-inch Quad-HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 19:9 screen-to-body ratio and 550ppi pixel density. As mentioned above, its display comes with HDR10+ certification and has a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Moreover, the Galaxy S10 is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 SoC based on the 7nm fabrication process which is further bundled with 8GB RAM. Galaxy S10 comes in 128GB and 512GB of internal storage variants which can be further expended upto 512GB.

Furthermore, Galaxy S10 comes with a 10-megapixel single punch-hole selfie camera which is coupled with 2PD autofocus, an f/1.9 aperture, and 80-degree lens. While there is a triple camera setup at the back with an LED flash. Out of these three cameras, there is a 12-megapixel primary camera with 77-degrees lens and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.5 to f/2.4. While there are 12MP f/2.4 telephoto sensor and a 16MP sensor with 123-degree ultra wide angle lens. All of these lenses are modified with the company’s Dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) technology.

Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy S10 has almost every sensor onboard including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, proximity sensor, and RBG light sensor. Moreover, this smartphone is also rich in connectivity as it includes dual 4G VoLTE (LTE Cat. 20), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, it is bundled with a 3,400 mAh battery for longer uses.

Since Galaxy S10+ is an advanced version of Galaxy S10, most of its specifications are identical to that of Galaxy S10. It features a 6.4-inch Quad-HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a bit lower 438ppi pixel density. It is powered by the same processor which is coupled with two RAM variants as of 8GB and 12GB. While there are three storage variants 128GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

Furthermore, Galaxy S10+ features the company’s first ever dual selfie camera settled in a punch hole structure. The primary selfie camera is as same as that of Galaxy S10 which is further coupled by an 8MP RGB depth sensor featuring an f/2.2 aperture and a 90-degree lens. At the back, Galaxy S10+ featuring the same camera as of Galaxy S10.

Apart from this, everything in Samsung Galaxy S10+ is similar to that of Galaxy S10 besides its battery capacity which has been increased in S10+ and rolled over to 4,100 mAh battery.

Out of these three, Samsung Galaxy S10e is the compact and the cheapest version. It also has many similarities with Galaxy S10 and S10+ but has some major differences. It features a 5.8-inch full-HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 522ppi pixel density. It has a peak brightness of 800 nits which is slightly less than the others. It is powered by the same processor which is coupled with two RAM variants as of 6GB and 8GB. While there are two storage variants 128GB and 512GB.

Furthermore, the front camera setup of Galaxy S10e is same as of Galaxy S10. While there is a difference in the rear camera setup from the other two. In Galaxy S10e, there is a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. Out of which, the primary camera is of 12MP with 77-degrees lens and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.5 to f/2.4 and another is a 16MP sensor with 123-degree ultra wide angle lens.

Apart from this, Apart from this, everything in Samsung Galaxy S10e is similar to that of Galaxy S10 and S10+ including its connectivity options besides its battery capacity which has been increased in S10+ and rolled over to 3,100 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Specifications

This is the most advanced version in the S10 series. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G features a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 19:9 screen-to-body ratio and 505ppi pixel density. It is powered by the same processor which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB Internal Space which cannot be extended further.

Furthermore, it also has dual-camera setup at the front with a 10MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and 80-degrees lens which is coupled by 3D Depth Camera with an hQVGA resolution while at the back there is a Quad-Camera setup. Out of which, three cameras are the same as that of Galaxy S10 and S10+ but with an additional 3D Depth Camera with an hQVGA resolution.

Apart from this, it has the same specifications with an additional 5G support in this Galaxy S10 5G. Also, this smartphone is packed up with a huge 4,500 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Series Price

Starting one by one, the Samsung Galaxy S10 price will start from $899.99 and will be available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, and Prism White color variants. While Galaxy S10+ price will start from $999.99 and will be available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Prism White, Ceramic Black, and Ceramic White color variants. At the emd, Samsung Galaxy S10e price will start from $749.99 and will be available in Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Prism White, and Canary Yellow color variants. As of now, there isn’t any information about the price of Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

As for their availability is concerned, all of these smartphones will be going live on sale from March 8 in the US. However, the pre-booking of Galaxy S10 series smartphones will kick off tomorrow on February 21st in the US.
