Samsung has started rolling out One UI 5.0 upgrades based on the Android 13 operating system to several Samsung Galaxy smartphones in India. Now, the Galaxy M and Galaxy F series smartphone models have started receiving the latest One UI 5.0 updates. This update comes with a host of new features and important adjustments that enhance privacy and let users customise their smartphones.
One UI 5.0: Availability
The One UI 5.0 update is currently available for the Galaxy M53, Galaxy M52 5G, Galaxy M33, Galaxy M32 5G, Galaxy M32, and Galaxy M13 5G, and it will soon be made available for additional smartphones from the Galaxy M and Galaxy F series.
After releasing the beta version in August, Samsung started to roll out the One UI 5.0 stable update based on Android 13 to the Galaxy S22 series in India last month. The company recently unveiled the schedule for the Indian market, which includes a list of all the devices, including over 50 smartphones and 11 tablets.

One UI 5.0: What’s new
The new One UI 5.0 allows users to completely customise their smartphone experience. With the new interface, users can change, edit, and enhance the lock screen by adding photos and videos. Users can also save space on their home screen by condensing multiple widgets into a single widget.
Galaxy smartphone users can now multitask with the help of split-screen and pop-up views. The recent apps list, or the apps edge, multiple windows can be opened with a simple swipe. The new Security and Privacy Dashboard now displays information about the state of various smartphone security features, including the camera, microphone, and location settings. The dashboard also offers suggestions to enhance smartphone security.
The update comes with 16 colour themes that are based on wallpaper. The ringtone volume and vibration levels have new menu designs. With the help of the Object Eraser tool, users can quickly remove unwanted people, objects, shadows, and reflections from images. The sharpness of old photographs is enhanced through photo remastering, thereby enhancing the quality of the original image.
However, it’s important to note that after the One UI 5.0 update, only a select group of Galaxy M series devices will receive an object eraser and photo remaster feature.
