TV’s are getting smarter and even better as the years are passing by, and the leading tech brands will surely make their move to improve their products at the highest peak. Samsung is one of them, during their press conference at the IFA 2028 event, they announced the limit breaker for 8K resolution, the Q900R QLED 8K complete with 8K AI Upscaling.  This TV is available in four different screen sizes, 65, 75, 82, and 85 inches.

Samsung fanatics with the thirst of gaining the best resolution might get their hand at these products as early as it is in September, or might be in October. The feature that might make the people excited about this one is its high power resolution. Aside from its ultra-high resolution screen, it also has a high-end video rendering. What makes it able to support that much video resolution, here’s the thing, the Q900R processing engine takes the 8K AI Upscaling system to the highest compatibility. It has a continuous self-updating built-in feature often referred as “formula bank” and thinks of a way on how to handle every single output at their best fit. Just smart and great isn’t it.

Samsung worked so hard on it to slay the competition, “We’ve worked tirelessly over the years to move the industry forward when it comes to premium picture quality, and the introduction of our QLED 8K with 8K AI Upscaling is an integral component as we look to the future of displays,” Jongsuk Chu said, the senior vice-president of Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business.

Not just the resolution, it also has an optimized brightness as it uses Q HDR (High Dynamic Range) 10+ technology that produces a high-quality brightness and a realistic resolution. Chu said that “We’re thrilled to introduce the Q900R to consumers and are confident that they will experience nothing short of brilliance in colour, clarity, and sound on our new 8K-capable models,”.

The QLED 8K is expected to be available in stores from the end of September, although there is no official word on the specific date or which models will be available.
