Breakout horror indie hit Signalis is getting Nintendo Switch and PlayStation physical editions. Both versions are $30 and are scheduled to ship on February 21. Preorders are now live at major retailers and come with Polaroid-esque bonus items.
Released in October 2022, Signalis is a horror game inspired by genre classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. It was a Xbox Game Pass release and is still on the service–for those who want to try out the game before springing for the physical edition.
GameSpot scored the game 8/10 in its Signalis review. Critic Mark Delaney praised the game for its atmospheric levels, nostalgic puzzles, and art direction. “It’s a game where you encounter monsters in hallways with barely any room to run past them, hardly enough ammo to take them down, and seldom a clue as to where you need to go next,” said Delaney. “But, like the genre’s titans, the devil is always in the details, and the game rewards a cautious but ultimately decisive playstyle.”
