Sony Xperia L2 with 5.5” HD Display Launched in India for Rs 19,990

Sony has launched a new Xperia series smartphone in India dubbed as Sony Xperia L2. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 19,990 and is available to purchase via offline retail stores across the country. It comes in Black and Gold colour options.

To recall, the Sony Xperia L2 was first unveiled at CES 2018 along with Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra. The Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra are the camera-centric smartphones while Xperia L2 is the low-cost device. But the smartphone launched in India with a whopping price tag of Rs. 19,990. There are better smartphones available in the market which cost much lesser than the Xperia L2.

The Sony Xperia L2 runs on Android 7.1.1 operating system and sports a 5.5” HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with regular 16:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with Mali T720-MP2 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Sony Xperia L2 comes with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with  f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree Super-Wide angle Selfie lens.

The Sony Xperia L2 is fueled by a 3300mAh battery without the fast charging support. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE with Cat13/12 band, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. It measures 150 x 78 x 9.8mm and weighs 178 grams.
