South Sydney Rabbitohs prop Junior Tatola report for chicken wing, Alex Johnston and Jai Arrow injured
South Sydney will be sweating on the NRL’s match review committee charge sheet after Tevita Tatola was reported for a chicken wing tackle in their 38-12 victory over the Sharks.
The Rabbitohs prop was put on report by referee Adam Gee during the second half of their semi-final clash with Cronulla at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
He put Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo in an awkward position and then bent the ball-carrier’s left arm backwards to roll him over.

“They’re appealing for a chicken wing tackle, and that’s what they get,” Nine commentator Mat Thompson said.
The Rabbitohs will be desperately hoping Tatola does not get hit with a suspension when the MRC charge sheet comes out on Sunday.
South Sydney is already missing front-rower Tom Burgess, who was suspended for two games for high contact last week.
The Rabbitohs will take on Penrith in next week’s preliminary final.
They are also waiting to gauge the fitness of superstar winger Alex Johnston and forward Jai Arrow, who both left the field injured against the Sharks.
