The double-header action begins with the Bangla Tigers Mississauga, featuring Shakib Al Hasan, against the 2023 Champions, Montreal Tigers, led by Chris Lynn. This will be followed by the Brampton Wolves, featuring David Warner, against the Surrey Jaguars, with Marcus Stoinis, on July 26.
Star Sports, known for its extensive cricket portfolio, broadcasts events such as the ICC T20 World Cup, Indian Premier League, and Big Bash League, among others. The first league matches are scheduled for 8:30 PM IST (11:00 AM local time) in Brampton, Ontario, with the second match at 1:30 AM IST (4:00 PM local time).GT20 Canada aims to popularise cricket and build a strong cricketing ecosystem in Canada and North America.
