Tecno expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of its first smartphone at the beginning of the year. The Tecno Phantom X2 5G is now set to go on its first sale in the country on January 9 (today) at 12 pm. At first, the Chinese smartphone maker launched this phone in Dubai in December 2022. The mid-range smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek processor and features an AMOLED display along with a 64MP camera setup. Tecno Phantom X2: Price and Availability
Tecno Phantom X2 is priced at Rs 39,999 and will be up for sale today via the popular e-tailer channel Amazon. The smartphone was already up for pre-order on January 2 on the e-commerce platform. Customers will now be able to purchase it directly from today. Tecno Phantom X2 will be available in Stardust Grey and Moonlight Silver colour variants.
The company is also expected to give away some special offers to avail till January 31. Customers exchanging their old phones while buying the new Phantom X2 will get an additional Rs 5,000 discount. Amazon is also offering a 12-month Amazon Prime Membership on the purchase of this phone. Moreover, the phone will also be available for no-cost EMI starting from Rs 6,667 per month.
Tecno Phantom X2: Key specs
The new smartphone sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. A coating of Corning Gorilla Glass Vitus on top of the display makes it scratch-resistant. Tecno Phantom X2 features the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, backed with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone also supports RAM expansion of up to 5GB.
For optics, the 5G smartphone houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP main camera, a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP bokeh unit along with a quad flash setup. The smartphone also features a 32MP front snapper with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Tecno Phantom X2 also packs a 5,160mAh battery unit that supports 45W fast charging. The phone boots HiOS 12.1 based on Android 12.
